For 114 years, Saint Cecilia School has been the heart of Catholic education in the city of Pawtucket — a place where every child is known by name, every family is welcomed, and every student is prepared for something greater.
Our school is accredited through the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and is piloting an additional accreditation program called Lumen through the Catholic University of America.

Academic Accreditation
Saint Cecilia School is accredited through the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Through this partnership, we embrace academic excellence and continued self improvement. Our collaboration with NEASC affirms our dedication to providing a learning environment where every student may flourish.
Saint Cecilia School has also recently partnered with the Catholic University of America to be among the first group of schools in the Diocese of Providence to earn the Lumen Accreditation. CUA's long standing reputation for academic and spiritual excellence continues to help us grow as a school community.

SCS Quick Facts
- Founded in 1912, we have fostered a place of academic excellence and Catholic faith for 114 years.
- Thanks to our benefactors, we award over $100,000 dollars of financial assistance each year to our families.
- We have Five Sports Programs available, including Cross-Country, Cheerleading, Basketball, Volleyball, and Soccer.
- We are a diverse school, with students from 17 cities/towns and many cultures represented in our school.
- We offer several extracurricular activities in addition to many sports programs, including Drama, Yearbook Club, the Student Newspaper, History and Science Fair, Homework Club, Gaming Club, School Choir, the Student Ambassador Program, and many more.
- We have an extremely strong teacher retention rate, which leads to greater stability for our student's education.
